I went to the beach on Saturday (28 of April) with my friend and photographer Shola.
We went to the kids clean beach somewhere in Eleghusi Lagos to help clean the beach and later join a chill out session with the Mentally aware Nigeria Initiative (MANI) group. It was a bright and beautiful day and I was able to take beautiful pictures that I decided to share with you. On getting to the there, the cleaning process was almost over but I was in time for the Eco-friendly lecture.Guys, I had never seen so much waste in my entire life (mostly non-biodegradable). In fact after the cleaning process I decided to take a major Eco-friendly decision and I think you should all do too.
The Kid clean beach group not only clean the beach but also makes sure that recyclable waste are adequately taken care of.I’ve been to the beach only a few times but Saturday was the first time I got close enough to the water. I met a girl Lateefat who helped me overcome my fear of the water.
After I got used to being close, I didn’t want to stop, lool.
I even walked on the pile of rocks used to demarcate the beach, I could never have done that in the past.I wore this Boohoo dress because I thought it was perfect for the occasion with my tote and a cute little Zara women purse. I opted for a pair of sandals so my feet could breathe and it just really relaxes the look.
I will most likely be sharing with you what I think about MANI stay tuned till then.I hope you enjoyed stopping by. Don’t forget to subscribe to my blog. Click here to view my last post if you missed it
